Frequently Asked Questions Around Our Nut Free Cakes

Are all your cakes nut-free?

Yes. Miss Muffetis a nut-free business and does not use peanuts or tree nuts in the studio. Customers can order directly from our nut-free collection. However, if the cake is for someone with a severe or life-threatening nut allergy, we recommend considering an alternative solution, as we cannot guarantee that all ingredients were produced in a nut-free facility.

Can I order a nut-free birthday cake?

Of course. We have plenty of birthday designs to choose from, including colourful children's cakes and more grown-up styles for adult cakes. If you already have something specific in mind, you can also talk to us about a custom design.

What occasions can I order a nut-free cake for?

Pretty much any celebration where you'd like to share a cake. Our cakes can be ordered for children's and adult birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, school celebrations, office events and other milestones.

What flavours are available?

It depends on the cake you choose. Current options include favourites such as vanilla, chocolate, brown sugar and Victoria sponge, as well as salted caramel, dark chocolate and raspberry, white chocolate and raspberry, vanilla and strawberry, and lemon with lemon curd.

Can you accommodate other dietary requirements?

Yes. All our cakes are nut-free, and we also have egg-free and gluten-free cupcakes and other products available. If you have a specific dietary requirement, let us know when ordering and we'll advise you on the options available.

How much do your nut-free cakes cost?

Our nut-free cakes currently start from around $90 and go up to $650, depending on the cake design and size. Some flavour choices may also come with an additional charge. You can check the individual cake listing for the current price and available options.

Are Miss Muffet cakes halal?

Miss Muffet is a 100% Muslim-owned bakery and uses halal-compliant ingredients in its cakes. Our recipes do not contain pork, lard, gelatine or alcohol, and we follow halal practices throughout our cake-making process. However, our cake boutique is not currently halal certified. 

This is because the current team does not meet the certification requirement for a Halal team comprising at least two Muslim permanent staff members on site.

How much notice do I need to order a nut-free cake?

Most cakes require at least 4 working days' notice, unless otherwise stated on the product listing. More complicated designs may require additional time. For orders needed in less than 4 working days, we may be able to accommodate your request subject to availability, with a $40 express charge.

How much is cake delivery?

Delivery is handled by our delivery partner and costs $25. If you need onsite cake setup, this is available for an additional $100. Specific delivery times can be requested within a 2-hour window, and the team will do its best to accommodate your preferred timing.

Can I collect my cake instead of having it delivered?

Yes, You can collect your cake from The Miss Muffet Studio 02-109, 4 Queen’s Road. 260004, 2 mins from Farrer Road MRT. Self-collection is available from Wednesday to Sunday, 11am to 6pm. Monday and Tuesday collections are available by appointment.
